I found myself in a difficult situation over the Christmas holiday. I felt that I was being harshly criticized, ganged up on and outnumbered. My immediate family wasn't there. I had no buffer. it was a tense and very uncomfortable situation. I wanted to just scream and lash back but I had determined earlier that day after hearing Nada's and Mother Mary's dictations that I would keep my harmony and try to see God in those who were being mean to me.

I also determined that I would not act or look the part of the victim so despite the depressing and heavy atmosphere that I felt in the house I put on a sparkly red shirt, sparkly jewelry and a silly Santa Claus apron. I was determined to hold my head up and have Fun even if everyone else was dwelling in their muck.

I called my sister to pray for me before I went back out into the "fray". I tried to keep those words from Mother Mary and Nada in my head and GUESS WHAT?! When I went back out into the room something had changed. The room started to lighten up somehow. I kept trying to think, "look into their eyes and see God. . . . look into their eyes and see God . . . . . look into their eyes . . . . . hold the immaculate vision . .. . . . . hold the immaculate vision . . . . .."

To my surprise we all ended up having a fabulous time. Smiles were soon on everyone's faces. We joked and laughed and had the best pizza we ever ate and enjoyed each other's company. This was my very best Christmas present. Harmony stayed in the house as the holidays continued.

I am so grateful to my sister for praying for me and so grateful to Mother Mary and Nada for giving me the "magic" words and thoughts to keep in my mind and heart and I am also grateful to my daughter for giving me a silly Santa apron.

Here are some of the words from Nada which helped me:

    The Spirit of Givingness:

"Greet all with a a Kiss of Peace,

with an embrace of Holy Love.

    Looking into each one's eye

    and taking just a moment

to see that light of God,

    that is so precious,

    within each one

    and reflect it back.

    Through each one's eyes

is the sacredness of your own soul

and spirit that that one sees too."

-Nada, Your Rose Lady of Light

Thanks for sharing Lisa. This is a beautiful and very practical message--something that any one of us could remember and do in a similar situation.

    Thanks!!
