I´ve had the desire to write for a long time, but I´ve been interrupted by thoughts like: "there are already so many books", "everything is already written", "do I really have anything to say?". But then I´m thinking about Omraam... He gave so many speaches that were incredible! If no one would have recorded them or written them down in beautiful books, his wisdom would have been lost to us. And a book or a recording can live for thousands of years. Just look at the Bible! At least there is a chance to reach out to someone who could be inspired on their path and journey to God. And that´s worth a lot.

One good reason for leaving a legacy and documenting your spiritual work is that sometimes you can write down what you can't say aloud to people you love and are very close to you. Plus often (we know from experience) what others have written is studied and respected more after they have transcended than when they were alive, when people are ready to receive the nuggets of light that seemed to elude them for so many years.
My mother was searching earnestly for answers outside the conservative christian realm and I misjudged her for those efforts because, at the time, I was in my "fundamentalist christian" role. The first time I ever heard the words "the Great White Brotherhood" was from my mom, whose learnings I rejected at the time but later came to respect and meditate upon (after she transcended).
