Raphael, I am not sure about my relationship to Kybalion. Not that I would dipute any statements from Hermes' Principles. It would take at least a whole semester if not longer to understand those principles. Currently I am having issue with "half truth". Some of those "Principles" we are familiar with. Perhaps we could discuss this further?

Just got your comment on The Kybalion. The author is speaking from the standpoint of relativity, in the sense that all things have a dual nature.

When looking at the term 'half truth' I get that every truth which we hear from the masters, for example, may be a half truth to us, if we haven't realized it ourselves; in other words, the personal experience of the truth that the master highlights can become a 'whole truth' in other words, a living, breathing truth, when we have realized and are living it for ourselves.

This book has been a primer for many students of the masters; because the concepts are broad; yet, there is no indication that everything in it can be taking as ipso facto the true teachings of the Ascendeded. Master Hermes. That is the thing with any book; but many of the concepts are universal and as it relates to our course, those concepts can be helpful in our understanding. Many of these concepts can be updated and applied to what we know now, as students of the masters, in this dispensation.

If you think about the quality of the constellation of Gemini that was discussed in our 2nd class, then much in this book relates to this constellation and its law of duality. In this book there is a saying: 'all opposites can be reconcilled' in other words the Holy Spirit, unity and the spirit of brotherhood are the true reconcillers of the pairs of oppostites that are so indented in this book.

Well, have fun with the on-line book and remember that it is optional reading.
