    Wheat Diet in February for Cleansing, suggest February 8, 2012
    Ten Days

    This year the suggested date to begin is February 8, 2012
    It is important to purify the body in the spring. The Master Peter Deunov fasted for ten days at this time. Only he and his cook knew—no one else. In 1953 she had a dream: “You can now give this practice to the Brotherhood.”

    In February, 2-3 days after the full moon, preferably on a Wednesday, begin:

    - Eat 100 grams (3.5 oz.) grain of wheat (crushed or whole, good quality; golden, not hard winter wheat)
    - Three apples
    - Nine walnuts
    - Honey and lemon

    Preparation of the grain of wheat: The previous evening, clean, rinse and put the wheat in a thermos, add 2-3 cups of boiling water, close and leave for the next day. In the morning the next day, say this special formula once only, that day only:

    God, accept me for ten days in the hospital/healing center of Nature.

    Then use a spoon to drain the water, which has taken on the qualities of wheat, and drink the wheat water half an hour before breakfast. (If a person has a nervous illness, have a cup of this water daily for 40 days.) You may add a little lemon or honey, like lemonade.

    Have the following for breakfast, lunch and dinner:

    - One-third of the soaked wheat (1.15 oz.)
    - One apple
    - Three walnuts

    Eat this three times a day.

    Water: It is very important to drink water. Drink only water which has been brought to the boiling point; this activates the prana. Two or three hours after eating, drink two or more cups of hot water with lemon and honey. Have at least one lemon a day with honey to taste. The amount of honey will vary, depending on your body’s requirements. It is important to have honey. The Master took a little honey and put it in the roof of his mouth. He put the lemon in the water. Why? The most fine spiritual centers are in the brain. These are fed not with the stomach but with the mouth. So chew foods for a long time—for spirituality, not just for health. The Master said to chew the grain of wheat 99 times before swallowing.

    Honey is for the blood. Apple is for the heart. The grain of wheat is for the whole body; it contains all elements the human body requires. Walnuts are for the brain.

    The Master ate small quantities of pure things. He ate the most beautiful foods.

    On the tenth day, at lunch and at dinner, have the usual and add Angle Soup: potatoes, water, parsley, and salt according to taste.

    On the eleventh day, eat normally but do not eat a lot. Have all you want but not too much.


    Teachings from the Master:
    On the fifth day while eating lunch, the Master smiled and said, “They are coming.” The cook looked and saw no one. The Master smiled and said, “The new cells are coming.” On the fifth day, the body is changing.

    The fast can be done in the beginning, middle or end of the month; it can continue into March, depending on the moon’s cycle.

    There is prana from Nature in the early spring. Violet radiance is seen in the mountains in March and April. One can see the growing force. The Master says that excursions in the mountains are important at this time.

    The grass and the animals are accepting of it as winter comes to an end; we may accept it also. The body must be purified first in order to accept the prana.

    Bury in the earth a compost of the shells of nuts, the skins of fruits, and so on. The Master recommended planting seeds of apples, for example. “Be thankful to the trees, plant seeds.”

    The psychological state is important during this time. We are to be Children of the Sun—always smiling, everything positive, doing only good in every action. This is very important: to be Children of the Sun!

    Patricia,

    Thanks for the reminder. I started it by mistake after the new moon. I stopped and will start again tomorrow. I think an important part of the diet is to chew slowly and eat mindfully and lovingly.     I have made the determination to do the wheat diet every month in 2012. Ivanka has a book in Bulgarian that describes the 12 virtues the diet develops in a person for every month. February is health. I asked her to translate the other months and will share what she tells me soon.

    For those who desire to do the 10-day wheat diet this year, the suggested date to start is January 30th. Also, you can start on February 27th.

    I will finish the wheat diet tomorrow. I feel great! I lost 10 pounds and didn't feel too hungry or weak throughout. I definitely recommend it to everyone, especially those who are having health problems or who have difficulty fasting. Drink plenty of water, especially boiling hot water with honey, and get plenty of sunshine during the diet. February 27th is the next start date.
