A Sunday School Teacher decided to have her 2nd grade class memorize the 23rd. Psalm, one of the most quoted passages of the bible. She gave the class a month to learn the chapter.
One little boy was very excited about the task, but just couldn't remember the Psalm. Although he practiced and practiced, he just could not get past the first line.
So, the day came when the students were going to recite the Psalm to the congregation. The little boy was very nervous, when his time came he stepped very proudly to the microphone, and said "The Lord is my Shepherd" and that's all I'm required to know!
