Livingston Sanctuary of the Heart
A New Standard for Quiet and Stillness in the Sanctuary of the Heart during Services
Today a new standard begins here in the sanctuary, and that is that everyone is required to be still. And if you cannot sit still during the meditation or during the service, except when God allows us to have exercise or take an intermission, you're asked to attend elsewhere, either in another room with the video or from home. We can no longer allow interference with the flowfield. This has been going on for quite some time now. This is the request of El Morya, Kuthumi and Djwal Kul in order to have the harmony and the state of presence and beingness that we require to do our spiritual work.
What this will require is personal effort to maintain harmony within your body—exercise and right diet so that your physical temple is a vehicle for stillness, wholeness and presence. It often takes years of discipline to reach this state. We are all understanding of the human frailty of our bodies at times, yet this is the new standard. We must all come up higher, including myself. Right diet, eliminating those things that we know can cause interference with this state of being is essential. I personally know that I cannot have dairy and maintain this state or have excess sugar—refined sugar or any refined sugars—or partake of gluten, et cetera. This is my standard. For some of you, this may also be yours. For some, it is not yet.
I can assure you that if you put aside things that interfere with your body's harmony, you will eventually be able reach this state. It does take discipline. It takes constancy on the path. It takes actually meditating at home regularly when we're not having services here and mastering this state of silence. Practice, practice, practice. If you don't practice, then when you come here in an unpracticed state, you interfere with everyone else's very sensitive state of being that they have entered because they have been disciplined to reach this state and maintain this state. You can't expect that now, after weeks and months and years of us entering into this, you can just come here and interfere with what is transpiring and that there won't be consequences.
This is the new norm, the new standard, and I'm not apologizing for it. This is the Master's request. Kuthumi is very loving, believe me. And yet he's also at times a disciplinarian when it's required that he be. So I think the gentility of his message and the peace-commanding presence that he brings is softening and very comforting. And so he came before this message was conveyed because it's not about any one person. It's not about condemning or blaming or anything like that. It's just that we have to have this standard for us to do our spiritual work.
