I identify with Miranda, and this is not just because she is a female, such as myself, it is because I was so much like her in my youth. Miranda not knowing much about the outside world was quite naive. She had to create a world within her mind that would represent what she thought the outside world was like. Since she had no memory prior to the island, she created a world within her mind. Her mind encompassed the world beyond the island. She fell in love with the first man she saw, fortunately for her, he loved her back, and for who she really was. That is where the similarity ends for me. I was not as fortunate. However; because of my situation, I had to deal with a lot of trauma and drama. I grew beyond my years and truly had to reach outside of the realm of the physical for strength and to survive. I learned to forgive and love in spite of what had been a painful experience.

The road to adeptship allows us to see beyond this material world and reach up to the heavens. You become stronger in your convictions and because of your victory over this circumstance, you now know without a doubt there is a God and they are there for you, even when you have not always been there for them.

It is not easy to discuss my Homework response openly as on the forum. However that is the assignment. I have to beg Saint Germains pardon as I do not readily identify with any of these characters. I can imagine that I am one of them, however we were not asked to Imagine but Identify.
I Identify more readily with the real people surrounding Francis Bacon in "the Code" but that is not the assignment. I keep looking for 35 other Homework responses from classmates to see how they are handling the assignment. constance

    Reply to Brian:
Brian, I believe I was a man quite close to Sir Francis. Perhaps one of his Scriveners. Constance

I am striving to identify with the qualities of diplomacy, savoir fair, courtesy and graciousness. Since reading about Francis Bacon’s life in the “Shakespeare Code”, I have been asking myself internal questions like: What would Francis or Saint Germain do in this situation? What is the best way to “keep the peace at all cost”? How can I be gracious in this sticky situation? What is the diplomatic action to take with this…this…this person? This mental process has actually helped me a lot. Especially realizing that Francis Bacon has such stiff tests, I have been seeing mine with more perspective lately. Thank you so much, Saint Germain!!!!!
