Good answer, Marla. I have heard of creative solutions by Canadian sungazers such as baking sand in the oven and taking it outside to stand on or sungazing in a heated greenhouse. But wool socks is a simple solution. The thing about sand is that it massages the pressure points on the feet, especially if you do barefoot walking, something I didn't talk much about in the course. I suspect the reason why sand is better than dirt or other surfaces is because it's made up of tiny quartz crystals, which store light. Wayne
