Trauma Tips: Sometimes we are not aware of things until we become aware of them. (Which has to do with our readiness to grow and heal from them.) This is one subject that had those AHA moments. I work with a woman who is a neurodevelopment specialist, and last weekend she gave a course on Neurodevelopment and Trauma. I was thinking about all the circumstances in one lifetime that we can attribute to Trauma and what it might do to us. I reflected on all the many occasions in life that could be listed as trauma, from birth forward, and how it may have been dealt with. Easily processed, repressed, ignored, diseases created, fears, and the many other ways that we protect ourselves from hurts of the past, as our defense mechanisms are created. So as I reflected on my own life as an example, as I wouldn't consider that I had had any major trauma that I could identify, I looked at those personal experiences in my journey that really were traumatic as I grew up. Knowing the teachings, I asked what I could do about it myself first. I acknowledged that through a previous teacher, I had received many clearances and blessings of light from the Masters, on life circumstances known and unknown to me, from this embodiment and past ones. So that was already done and accepted. However many of life's circumstances and lessons and experiences, I now could also claim healing from, since this has been brought into my world and attention. So I mentally went back to those hurts, unexplained, not understood experiences, and consciously asked certain Masters and Angels to assist with this process of healing. Ah the gift of transmutation by the Violet Flame! Since I am currently facilitating and studying Conscious Language by Robert Tennyson Stevens, this seemed appropriate to deal with now, as a creation in my own life. As it happens on the path, we grow in consciousness as an onion peels the layers from itself. I feel this was a way to think of how trauma in life, as others may be experiencing it, is quite a universal experience. And that knowing the teachings, I have the opportunity to change the past, heal the past, and have it influence the present and my future. So I hope this little sharing will inspire some to reflect on how they also can become aware of things in their life that have affected them, not been faced yet, and possibly choose this time to transform into a newer healed self.
