Hi, I found this *great* article our very own Wayne Puridin wrote, and decided to share it: http://www.examiner.com/a...h-of-soul-redemption

In the article, I mentioned The Wizard of Oz having similar symbolism. Here the link to my article on the Wizard of Oz: http://www.examiner.com/a...-baum-s-wizard-of-oz

I was listening to an orchestral performance of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" today, and the singer began with lyrics that were cut out of the song that Judy Garland sang in the Wizard of Oz. They are:

When all the world is a hopeless jumble
And the raindrops tumble all around,
    Heaven opens a magic lane
When all the clouds darken up the skyway,
There's a rainbow highway to be found
    Leading from your window pane
To a place behind the sun,
Just a step beyond the rain

The "place behind the sun" is the Great Central Sun. The songwriter knew the symbolism of the Wizard of Oz.
