I am thrilled that Washington State was able to successfully pass the Bill forcing food manufacturers to disclose what Genetically Modified Food/chemicals
They sell to us. Also that Pepsi and Coke were exposed for hiding their names as they supported the Monsanto monster in contributions.
Congratulations to those hard campaign workers for the work they did in educating the Public.

    Hi Constance,

All the news I have seen says the GMO labeling bill was narrowly defeated. And it has raised awareness of the GMO issue, so for that I am grateful!

Hi Ann, I am going to research this again. Dr. Mercola sent out a Congratulation letter and I had read that 55% of votes counted said they had the vote. I wouldn't put it past Monsanto to work some last minute deal.

While the GMO did not pass in Washington State in Nov. We must keep supporting efforts throughout America. The giants of the food and beverage industry and proponents of Monsanto poured over 22 million dollars to defeat this item. More and more States are passing bills quietly and we will over come eventually.
Stay aware, do not support these companies, read labels. Protect your families from disease from the chemicals put into our food and beverages

In some grocery stores you can find food products with the non-GMO verified label. I see it often at Whole Foods market, and I'm seeing a few products with the non-GMO verified label at the conventional HEB grocery store.

When the conventional stores start carrying products that are non-GMO verified, that will be a tipping point. People in the conventional food world will see this and start to ask questions. So I look for this label and buy products that have it. That is one way to create change, in the marketplace!

the non-GMO verified project gives the label. Learn more here: http://www.nongmoproject....erstanding-our-seal/

So while governments aren't ready to label, this group is starting it now!
