At this time when we are focused on Forgiveness I would like to bring to your attention a book written by Wm. Paul Young, called "The Shack". Three represenatives of The Trinity journey a father through grief and anger after his child was murdered. The conversations are truly worthy of one's contemplation. The lessons taught by 'Jesus and 'God' on Forgiveness are uniquely wonderful. One does not have to give up being angry with someone in order to forgive them. (God said).
I started reading this book with a bit of an attitude. I was thinking that it might be a bit 'Christian'. However once Mack, the father got to the shack it was a page turner for me.
In spite of the trauma in the first quarter of the book the rest was thoughtfully enjoyable.
