    WEEK 3 QUESTION:

ACCEPTING OUR PREMISE FROM LAST WEEK'S SESSION THAT THE ENTIRE COSMOS DEPENDS UPON YOU, DEVELOP A STRATEGY THAT ALLOWS YOU TO INCREASE YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND USE OF THE MERCURIAL RELEASES OF DIVINE INSPIRATION DISCUSSED IN HEARTSTREAM #15.

Am I a week ahead or are many in the class a week behind? I am going to make the bold move of posting my response to the question first, now that I have transcended the” fear” of what others may think. I say this in good humor knowing that someone has to break the ice.

From the description, a Mercurial release of divine inspiration sounds like a very powerful and profound release that has “planetary and cosmic effect”. This sounds like a lot more than the everyday angelic promptings so I will need to concentrate on increasing my understanding of what a Mercurial release actually is. Obviously, a lot more is happening on inner levels than we realize. A couple paragraphs later in the Heartstream Clare de Lis gives us a key. She states that “to feel the light of the heart of your Presence fully engulfing your being”. When this God essence fills your feeling world the wisdom of the heart springs forth. This gives us a starting point in devising the strategy. It shouldn’t surprise us that again the heart is the doorway through which we make the connection with the Mindful Ones and our own Divine Presence.

Personally, my strategy is to try to listen to the heart throughout the day as much as conditions allow. Even though you are busy, maintain a space of stillness; just know that it is there. I recall a quote from Mary Baker Eddy: “God is heard when the senses are silent.” We can minimize intrusions and noise by turning down TV’s, turning off radios and protecting that inner space. I think this allows your I Am presence and the angels to get through to you with their guidance and promptings. We all offer our prayers and decrees and often speak to the masters. We also need to give time for listening. If our days are too hectic, then, after the sun goes down a sense of peace settles in across the land. (or it should!) You can compare this to the opening of the band waves in radio transmissions. After the sun goes down you can receive those distant stations and they have to turn the power down. My point is, when its quiet it is easier to make the connection. A true adept would be able to maintain the connection throughout a stormy day.

So my strategy is to start out small and allow the spiritual roots to get established.
Listening, quiet spaces, recognizing telepathic communications within the heart; all these are stepping stones. Whenever I am ready and if there is a purpose the Mercurial inspiration will come with just the right intensity and in a manner that suits the situation.

Wow! Thanks, Robert for your insight into the term 'mercurial releases of divine inspiration'. I concur with your comments on maintaining our heart-attentiveness by creating spaces of stillness throughout our day as well as turning off electronics in order to be a better 'receiver'. In fact, I just decided that I no longer require cable tv in my home environment and I am noticing a much more peaceful vibration that is conducive to meditation and co-creativity. I am finding out how delightful
    silence and stillness can be.

As Beloved Omraam says in The Path of Stillness:

"Noise holds human beings down in the lower psychic regions. It prevents them from entering a subtle world in which movement becomes easier, vision clearer and thought more creative...silence is always a sign of perfection...the more adult a person becomes, the more clearly he perceives that noise is an obstacle to work whereas silence is a factor that is conducive to inspiration."

Mercurial---quick, changeable, sudden, unpredictable. The (Divine)inspirations that may come to us if we keep ourselves in a state of 'listening.'

I remember mother once saying that she was in a constant state of listening. It is a learned habit. It is a fact that there is constant noise all around us most of the time.
Until there is a weather change, I sit outside in the morning and talk to the sun. I send out my silver cord to connect.

Also, (something new) Alpha, during the recent Swedish conference asked us to connect with him for one minute each day. He discoursed for exactly one minute. This is added training for me. Also as we look for an introspective environment, I sit with my son outside on the river bank and teach him all that we are learning in this class. In a sense it is a review. We practice visuals with our Third eye. We are training ourselves to be ready for Mercurial inspiration. This is my current strategy. It will probably change as I get better. Also I am under the sign of Mercury.

Hi Constance - I can see you and your son sitting near the riverbank connecting with the sun - what a wonderful image of a mother and son doing it together! Thanks for the concept of connecting with Alpha for one minute - just because we may be unable to physically receive the suns rays (because of clouds or fog) - we can still connect with Alpha/Omega, how comforting it is to realize this.

When the entire cosmos depends on me, I will immediately with mercurian speed, when I see, feel or hear the need of the hour , command the four cosmic forces and the higher frequencies of God to bring instantaneous descent of celestial lightning, and light, from on high into that focus.

To me it requires Presence to receive the Mercurial releases, so that´s the most important practice for me. And accepting who I am right now and that everything is as it is, is the main steps for being Present.

Since I`m currently walking a bit in the unknown of what to do with my life, I also just started writing down my "flashes of inspiration" (not necessarily Mercurial?) in a book, to increase my understanding of them and to see if they point towards the same direction, which, if they do, will give me more certainty that that´s what I should act upon.

One strategy of understanding and using Mercurial releases of Light and divine inspiration that I found is to Call to and Meditate with the Masters of the Mercurial Rays and Light. This week when I have done this, sometimes I felt an opening of the crown right away. Throughout the day then times can come where you recieve those flashes and understandings next is to know and listen to the divine direction and Inspiration.

One way they may be utilized is through insights, and I have noticed this week the increase in the quick and changeable action or style of this energy and Light. Thank you Masters and for this assistance. One insight that came to me that I desired to write down was that pehaps for me that Light as consciousness in addition to vibration can be realized and known more.

Accepting the premise that the entire cosmos depends on me, my strategy would be to be sure to be centered in my Presence at all times, grow a magnanimous heart infused with knowledge and wisdom, listen and be obedient to the inner voice and be willing to act immediately, be balanced, constant, focused and patient (with myself and all around me).

All of the above is a work in progress.

I believe I must ready myself by cleansing my being, this is being done through prayer, diet, singing, meditating to music and decreeing. This cleansing action will prepare me to be a receptive vehicle for the Mercurial Releases/Divine Inspiration.

Another important ingredient is study. I am reading more, and researching a myriad of topics which will allow my mind, to recognize a release of light and understand its message at a level of my being that can be fully cognized. I have dedicated my life to study. This study is not only through books, it is through meditating on the Sun, viewing my own internal words, actions and especially my thoughts. I pray that a purging action is taking place that will allow me to be a vessel for Divine Inspiration; where the sole purpose of this inspiration will be to help and assist the Light! To be a just steward for all sentient beings, to exchange self for others, my family, my own soul and to fulfill my mission.

The title of # 15 heartstream by Clare de Lis is "Accelerating Your Ability to Hold and Radiate Solar Light for the Earth". Sungazing recharges my solar frequency to use Mercurial releases of divine inspiration.
Often, when I am watching the news I will mute the sound and make fiats to God and AA Michael for their intercession as I see situations and conflicts around the world. Pure vision, pure speech, pure thought, pure feeling and pure action are Buddhic strategies to direct the Mercurial enegies into the world for liberation and enlightenment.
I agree with everyone on this forum who wrote that stillness and silence are necessary to feel these cosmic impulses of celestial lightening. I have learned that meditation has now become for me more and more of my waking state as I live, move, work and interact with people. I Am the Witness-Consciousness of directing light from my solar being into all that I do, think, feel, and say. When I slip up it is magnified to my consciousness and I sometimes dwell for days on how and why I slipped up so that I can stop making the same mistake again. Every time I slip up I diminish the opportunity to serve the highest good and outcome. It is a matter of daily transcending oneself.Clare de Lis wrote it is through feeling the light of the heart of your divine Presence..."this God-essence in your feeling world, allow the accelerated gnosis of the wisdom aspect of love to illumine your heart..allowing the acceleration of love-wisdom..the lightning of the Mind of God will become your friend and benefactor in your spiritual work."

My strategy to increase my understanding and use of the Mercurial releases of divine inspiration is to continue sun gazing, listening and acting on my intuition, clearing my consciousness through prayer and meditation, and stilling my mind and emotions. As I concentrate on these spiritual practices, the flashes of inspiration become more frequent. I will receive a flash of inspiration that gives me a complete knowing of, for instance, something in my subconscious that requires transmutation, or what is a priority for me to do right away. Whenever I am in the process of deciding what to do about anything, from the smallest of decisions to the largest, I ask a master, such as Mother Mary, Lanello, Clare de Lis or El Morya, to please let me know the best course of action to take. Then I stop thinking about it humanly, surrender it, and let God take over. After a while the answer becomes clear. Joyce

A few people have commented that there often is too much noise around us; what we really need are moments of silence or stillness to reconnect with our Heart or with The Presence.

I so much agree. I often feel that I either need to be a good conversationalist or to engage in some task; whereas, what I really desire is Stillness. More power to all of us who require this.

As I recall two weeks ago, the question was what would the world be like if I never existed. My answer: my former wife would not have been able to rear a child, something that meant so much to her. My Psychology students would not have had concepts presented to them in a way to which they could both relate and use. My three biological children would not be around and their gifts would not have been bestowed. The people I have run onto would have had fewer smiling faces and less humor in their lives. And some unique form of body/mind/spirit exercise would not have been developed (this I see as a purpose in life that I am on the way to fulfilling).

What I have been doing is giving mantras, in a meditative mode, for all the chakras, especially during sun gazing while deep breathing, for instance: "I am a being of Apollo's fire; I am the wisdom God desires." Very effective. And also, from what I heard during Cheryl's guided meditation, I imagine a tube connecting the pineal gland to the heart. You can really feel the increase of light. Also, when you do the same, connecting the base of the spine to the heart, you feel an even greater increase of light. And the more often you do it, the easier it gets and the greater the benefits.

With the expansion of the lovewisdom flame in yourself, the positive, joyful and spiritual effect on others is much greater.

My strategy for understanding and using Mercurial releases, flashes of divine inspiration, is increasingly to practice being in a state of thoughtfully and gratefully noticing my life and those around me with my daily generalized, sometimes even verbally specific , often silently reaffirmed intent to see perfection in all. My inner stillness is almost a dreamy state when I am being within during the day, like daydreaming walking or watching people. I seem more quiet, speak more softly, and have a child's expectation of discovery and feelings of general joy along with impulses of desiring to bring happiness to others. And I expect 'aha' moments. If I have a general theme I like to muse about to experience these impulses, it is discovering the secret of universal brotherhood; what love/wisdom is required/acquired that magnetically draws me to feel totally all one, to be fully committed to live for, and to serve consciously beyond my self interests, to create golden age communities globally. And I try to share or write down my insights as they come. These inspire me to keep on doing what I love.

My thoughts exactly. The key phrase in the whole passage, at least for those of us who have not beein on this Path for long, is to "feel the light of the heart of your Presence fully engulfing your being." From there, I believe, all else follows. Of course, the third eye is required to share it's wisdom, along with some other centers.

Cheryl, I also am a "fan" of Omraam and so much agree with his urgings about experiencing stillness. Noise is a distractor most of the time. Thanks for your insights.

    Jenny,
In many of the readings, I often get the "implication" that one needs to be God-centered all of the time. I know no one is really saying this. Nevertheless, I do find your comment, that accepting ourselves right now as we are as a precursor to opening up to higher energies, a necessary thing to hear.

How thrilling! Expecting stellar lightning from the Great God Presence charges my soul. Even though I am new to this particular path, I can still be very open to lightning charges of insight and inspiration. Especially when someone helps upgrade my perception of the world in this way.

My strategy to increase my understanding and use of the Mercurial releases of divine inspiration is by preparing for sleep, asking for divine guidance from my Presence and the masters to learn in the Etheric Cities of Light, prepare my consciousness for receiving divine inspirations and higher promptings with crystal clarity and the swiftness of lightning to obey.

I feel the experience most profoundly when sungazing with meditation upon my Presence, and the purification of my chakras with special attention to entrainment with my crown and heart chakras.

The Mercurial mind is quick, airy, and flashes with lightening speed. upon arising when all is quiet, make the call to the I am presence to establish that tube of light so that as I go about my day I will have the peace of the presence surrounding me. My work in the world is intense and I require a peaceful setting and quiet to meditate in My backyard has become my sanctuary. I have many plants and flowers that I commune with daily. I watch the hummingbirds, bees, and butterfly's flit about. Watching them is very mercurial as they move with lighting speed. I am ever grateful to Guru Ma, I have had dreams of her and she has awakened me to the Mother, our planet and all the creatures in the seas , the air, and earth that are working to bring in this golden age of peace. Jesus told me long ago that the day would come when the lion would lay down with the lamb and there would be no more war. That vision is ever with me

Constance, This was good for me to read, as here where I live there are many mornings when I can not see the sunrise do to cloud cover. But with you insight I will now talk to the sun even though I do not see it I know its there. My God Presence lives in the heart of the sun, and I AM the sun. Thank-you

Accepting the premise the entire cosmos depends on me behoves
one to master higher degrees of light to deliver souls from
    mediocrity.

As described in Heartstream # 15, the Mercurial releases of divine inspiriation come to members of the holy order known
as Keepers of the lightening. These members, as aspiring
adepts have mastered a higher degree of the invocation
    of light.

The release of intense spiritual light into the world is
required. One must understand how to command light and
higher frequencies of God. Knowledge of higher alchemy is required and humility a virtue valued by the Great White Brotherhood.

Overcoming ego qualifies one for higher responsibility and
participation with the Great Silent Watchers of planetary
    homes.

While few can bear the effects of flashes of divine inspiration, initiates are able to receive mercurial releases
of divine light. A continual mastery of one's being allows
that one to be a receiving chalice of mercurial releases
    of light.

My strategy is "To Be that Lightning in Action"! This can be achieved in many ways. We can give fiats to bring Light into specific situations in our personal and planetary world. Maintain balance and harmony in our interactions with others. Being humble in our responses to others ideas and beliefs. Give unconditional love to all life. When given divine inspirations, we immediately obey the promptings. To feel God's love-wisdom energy flowing in your day-to-day interactions is such a wonderful experience. When you are turning challenges into opportunities and allowing God within you to work out the solutions that improve the quality of life for yourself, your immediate family and friends and to have the gnosis that what you are creating in your immediate environment is also expanding out into the world, and the entire cosmos and all life is sharing in the positive energies! To see Truth bring forth Freedom into the consciousness of God's children. I am filled with compassion and understanding. Thank You, Beloved Clare de Lis for your words of love-wisdom teachings!

My strategy of the mercurial flashes of divine action is to
strive to stay focused on the now, to be present to whatever
the flow of the moment is, that I may respond quickly and
appropriately to assist someone. silence is ingrained in me, as I have always appreciated the great value of time in the space of silence, while the world rages about in madness.

I recall reading in Chunyi Lin's autobiography Born a Healer,
of his experience in a cave where he had to deal with the
awesome silence during that time of solitude. the longer he
remained in that cave, the greater the magnitude of the effect
upon his conscious awareness. it got so intense that in the silence, he experienced a tremendously heightened sense of his
    being.

the masters encourage to develop the practice of stillness. it
could be that they know that the more we still our outer mind
, the less babble/chatter there is. the greater attunement or
at-one-ment we develop. the times we engage in a solitary
moment in the woods, or by the rippling waters, are a moment
of stillness and oneness with nature.

I love the babbling waters, sound of birds in a still forest,
the breezes caressing my skin, even the sound of silence as
I meditate upon the experience. all the times we gather these
moments in our experiential repertoire, we build a library of
frequencies which we can recall and reestablish to touch base with our divinity to help correct some misalignment
somewhere in the world. the control we maintain in harmony
holds in a space of time the eternity of cosmic equanimity.
thank God Harmony for so patiently reminding us from time to
time of the need to sustain harmony. and thank Claire De Lis for her steadfast example of the divine qualities we
    should all aspire to.
