The path of initiation, I see, as our way to leave our egocentered life to reach our oneness with God..
Every challenge in life is an initiation and is also our karma. There is small and big initiations to overcome. The “small” can be to “only” overcome our egofixations and our habits, foods, how to communicate with each other, our voice, our feelings and reactions with each other. This small initiations we often never experience as initiations because they are not connected to our “higher” adaptship.
The bigger initiations can be more conscious to lead to our oneness with God. To overcome these obstacles can be bigger and bigger, to take steps we are afraid of, for examples steps that our surroundings don´t like or cause that we have to leave our comfort zone.
The small initiations can still appear when we reach our big ones.

I see myself to have overcome many small initiations and some bigger ones and I know more is before me to challenge my comfort zone and to focus on the goal and overcome all distractions.

My understanding of the initiatic path is that every moment the universe brings me my next step on the path of initiation and that every experience is there for me to learn from and to grow. I am now in my fourth 12-year cycle since I consciously started my path of initiation in this life with the ascended masters. So according to the cycles of the cosmic clock, I see myself in the physical quadrant of my initiatic path right now. I desire to work on refining my physical body temple through right diet, mindfulness and exercise, and to grow in adeptship so that what was anchored in the etheric, mental, emotional can now be anchored in the physical. I desire to precipitate all facets of a golden-crystal age in my life through abundance, music, dance, intuition, sustainable agriculture, harmony, love and community.Joyce

My understanding of the Initiatic Path is that every soul is on it, and it seems that even the Masters are ever moving upwards into new realms of God-beingness. Thinking of all of life's "challenges" and circumstances as initiations makes it easier for me to meet them with love, knowing there is something to be gained from how I deal with it.
I don't know where I am on the path and I don't think that is as important as just realizing I'm on it. I have definitely had some big ones popping up lately and the theme seems to be surrender and letting go of control, which I'm sure can manifest in many circumstances in varying degrees of subtlety.
It's funny, but something usually "goes wrong" when I'm on my way to a Hearts Center event, but since I feel the presence of the masters and that they're 'watching me' so to speak, I am on my best behavior to resolve the situation with the most grace and love and just laugh at anything that comes up to try to get my goat.
It's kind of like a game that my Higher Self and the masters have planed out before my lifetime maybe, and everyone want me to pass so I've got to keep learning and tuning into my God Presence to keep advancing.

It helps me to be consciously mindful of a simple statement I heard from Guru Ma many years ago: "Initiation is a conferment of light."

Beyond this, I value these musings of my brothers and sisters, actively loving each of them as I read what they shared. Love remains the key for me on the path of initiation.

And I am here now and know that is where I am on the path of initiation.

Rereading Brother of the Third Degree reminded me the initiatic path is a process of cleansing and gradual fusing, with ever increasing joy, by learning to totally surrender to, depend on and obey my own Inner Presence, My True Being because I seek All Union. I now experience my path of initiation as increasing states of awakeness and alertness. I listen and ask for inner promptings as to when and how to speak and act and especially to govern my thoughts. I also appreciate initiation as my opportunities and readiness by my striving and often just by grace, to receive gifts and blessings of light in abundance, and to be tested.

Conscious Language has been a great awakener for me. Where I see myself on my path is more about being in relationship -- being held deeply within the heart and vision of my Mother Divine, than about being on any point. Still I periodically scan my astrology and use my cosmic clock for when, where and how to anticipate and respond to my tests. The more awake, the more I notice my life and what I am surrounded by with deep gratitude for all my loved ones, for loving all as one more as I grow, and for every challenge to goad me on. And I just keep on keeping on. Sometimes it’s all I can do to show up. And grace takes my next step. I guess that’s why we call it a path.
