just this week I finally reached the 30 minute time of solar gazing. It's been quite challenging, and honestly I never did sungazing on cloudy days. Perhaps at this time of year it makes good sense since there are increasingly many rainy days. I've enjoyed the process,
and was interested as the time increased how I had to
adjust the time and the place for sungazing.

Lately I noticed that I would start the process in one place at a very large parking lot of an abandoned business, and and as the sun arose, I had to move a little bit over to keep the sun in view from obstruction
from a building, a cloud, or some other object. By the time I was done, I was quite a few yards from where I had started. My awareness increased of the earth's rotation and the sun's trajectory, forcing me to move.

Also, because of the increasing length of time of my sungazing, I added listening to ocean waves to deepen my
focus on the meditation, and got more and more into it
to the point that time stood still and the sungazing was suddenly over for the day, signaled by my vibrating
    wristwatch alarm .

Lately, I noticed that later into the sungazing, I could see a bit of pink around the perimeter of the sun,
then a blue corona around the white disc/sun, and then a larger pink aura around the blue. made a more interesting and engaging sungazing experience. If I can
keep the sungazing session intact, instead of breaking it up into one in the morning and the other at sunset, I
feel more connected. my work schedule has happily allowed this, but my coworkers understand what I am doing, and why, so I feel comfortable with taking longer
to get to work. So far it has worked out fine, and I
feel blessed to have gotten this far into the process, and look forward to new developments.

Congratulations on passing the 30-minute milestone! Maybe you'll reach the 44 minutes by this summer. It took me a year and a half, and I live in Phoenix. It's good to do all your minutes in one continuous session, but if you find the sun too bright after a half hour after sunrise, you can break it up. I have heard about other sungazers listening to meditative sounds while sungazing, but it was a special CD designed to put listeners into a theta brainwave state. Maybe ocean waves do that.

    Hello,
Congratulations! I am at a similar time. 31 min 50 sec today. I also sungaze in a parking lot but I'm overlooking a large highway below. It's amazed me what a wide arc on the horizon the emerging sun makes throughout the year. I use a cell phone tower in the distance to visually measure it's location and height in the sky. I see a large corona around the sun as well as pink and orange and light blue as you described. I also see radiating orange bands which shimmer and large "spokes" (The spokes I see around all lights due to Radial Keratotomy sugery I had 20 years ago to correct my nearsightedness.) When I close my eyes and palm. I see a black horizon below with a sky of red above. The sun is light blue with bands of pink and orange shifting around it. The sun will gradually fade and then "pulse" back in strong again. It repeats several times until the entire image fades. After I open my eyes, everything is yellow for a few more minutes.

I wish I could complete my timing in one session on weekdays, but the sun is rising too late for me to finish and get to work.So I have been attempting to finish at sunset but this has been harder than I thought it would be due to lack of a good sunset spot. Thankfully daylight savings time will be in a few weeks and shift the sunrise to 7:00 am. I don't do sungazing on cloudy days - that's why it's taken me more than 2 years to get to this time. I'm just plodding along slowly!

    Happy Sungazing

Life has been challenging lately. As I was sungazing I was looking forward to the day when I returned to heaven and leave this octave. Then I had the revelation that the sun shines it's light through embodiment after embodiment. Through millions and probably billions of years the sun patiently shines it's light in this octave waiting for the evolutions of the solar system to evolve. Now that is dedication to God's creation!
Subsequently I saw that it was my attitude about the events of my life that caused me to see events as challenging and that I can discern what is required to be done in the moment and otherwise go with the flow. Jackie
