    Hi Wayne,
I now have transition lens glasses, which I know are not good for being taught by the sun. I will be purchasing new glasses and want your opinion about purchasing glasses that admit UV light. I am thinking Dr Lieberman said they could be special ordered. Do you wear these and do you advise people to purchase these? I wore hard lens contacts for many years with no sunglasses and my eyes became very sensitive to bright sunlight. Anyhow I would like your opinion. Thanks.

    Nancy,

Since we remove glasses or contacts before sungazing, there's no problem. However, for best healing effects of sunlight on the eyes during the day, glasses or contacts should be plastic and not have UV protection coating. The same is true for windows. Dr. John Ott had his house fitted with plexiglass windows that admit UV light.
