I have not been having meditations worthy of posting the last few days and this morning I realized it was because I was neglecting the morning shower. This morning during my shower, I realized that we need all four elements to fully awaken us in the morning. A shower, preferably cold, pranayama, standing on bare earth with bare feet or cotton or wool socks, and sungazing. So I did all four and had a meditation worth posting:

Yesterday, I received an email from someone about a healer from Croatia, Brako, who can heal people just with his gaze. So it was synchronistic that the daily meditation I read said, "The sun, which looks at us every day, also sends us waves of life. And because the sun is an image of God, who is our spiritual sun, we must become conscious that it is God who looks at us through the sun. To love God is to present ourselves before Him each day, so He may look upon us, and so we may receive His gaze."

This is what I wrote in my journal:

"What Brako can do, heal with his gaze, is something we all can do. This is white magic; it is the opposite of the evil eye. Our gaze, gestures, words, and touch can become magical and heal and bless others if we imbue them with the highest, purest thoughtforms without expectation of reciprocity or fear of rejection. In the morning, greet everyone with a gaze, gesture, word, or touch of unconditional love, just as the sun greets us. In this way, we will become suns to others."

I did this with my family and I noticed an effect on my own behavior and theirs. As I was driving on the way to dropping my daughter off at school, the car in front of me had a smilely face sticker on one side of the bumper and a raised hand on the other side. I told my daughter that the car was blessing us with it's gaze and salute.

I had never heard of Braco, so I watched this video clip and was truly amazed at this blessed, selfless soul, who has healed multitudes, yet insists he is not a healer. The inference being that in truth we are simply an instrument for God's work.

You can view videoclips of him "gazing" by putting this link in browser:
