This is my journal entry for today:

"The sun is not just a model to admire from afar and try to imitate. He is a mentor with whome you establish an intimate relationship with and who gives you advice and inspiration. The sun has answers to all questions and problems in life. Ask him a question and see the truth of this. This course is indeed a practicum. Every practicum requires one or more mentors. The mentors for this course are the sun and sponsoring masters. Call on the sponsoring masters for help as well."

When I do sun gazing the strongest impression I receive is a strong beam of light directly into my solar plexus. It took me a while to notice that regular pattern, but it always beams on me on this same way. Others may find they are having the same experience once they pay attention.

A technique Master Omraam recommends for charging the solar plexus is when the sun first breaks over the horizon and the first rays streak toward you, to drink in the rays like liquid golden nectar and see it going to your solar plexus. Picture it then flowing into all the cells and organs of your body, strengthening, vivifying, and purifying them.

There is a qi gong technique that's very similar, as follows: You can open your mouth wide and let the sun’s rays charge your saliva. Visualize the yang energy, like a golden nectar from the sun, entering your mouth and mixing with your saliva. Alternately, purse your lips and sip the golden rays to draw them into your mouth. Imagine that you are drinking the sun. Then swallow your charged saliva. This yang energy moves down into the stomach, which is near the power center called the hara (just below the navel).
