Forgiveness Meditation

I am entering into my meditation on forgiveness. I begin by relaxing my body and breathing very deeply and slowly, taking in and absorbing a much higher than normal amount of prana. After about 5 minutes I begin to focus my attention on my heart chakra and I remember that the bright Light within my heart is the very presence of God. With my inner vision I begin to see this bright Light within my heart and it is growing—growing larger and brighter as my attention and devotion to the Presence of God within me continues.

Soon I begin to experience a swelling, burning, magnetic feeling in my heart chakra and my consciousness is expanding as the resonance increases between this higher part of myself—God—and my outer waking consciousness. I continue to hold my attention upon my higher self until I feel myself as expanded and melted into the One Undivided Life.

I gently hold here for some time in order to stabilize my waking/brain consciousness in this extraordinarily expanded awareness—joyfully, rhythmically affirming that I AM one with the All in All.

I now turn my inner gaze back to the land of duality—where souls have their awareness entirely upon their dividedness—their individuality. I see that this sense of division has caused souls to hurl dark energy and patterns of unkindness towards one another. Some have hurled their negativity with such vehemence that portions of their very souls have gone forth along with their missiles of unkindness. These soul parts, with their dark energy and jagged patterns have embedded themselves into their victims, causing unsettledness, pain and sorrow. This pain and sorrow of the situation is experienced by both the attacker and victim—each in reality a drop in the ocean of the One Undivided Life.

A feeling of great compassion grows within me as I view these scenes—multiplied millions of times over all the Earth. I now actively choose to see all these souls as a part of the Ocean of Life which I AM. I actively feel the Light within each heart as one with the All in All. With the thought that things equal to the same thing are equal to each other, I feel all these hearts dissolving into that oneness which I continue to inhabit.

Holding this field of awareness of unity, I simultaneously begin to forgive and be forgiven—for I AM now both attacker and victim:

I Love You—I AM One with all life and I instantly feel the Love I AM expressing as both giver and receiver—Oh what a joy!

I’m Sorry—I forgot that we are One—I feel the pain that I gave to you/myself. Oh feel my remorse and desire to make everything shiny and happy again!

Please Forgive Me—Oh please let these dark and painful arrows of pain be dissolved now! I release them/take them back to me and the love that I feel turns all back into Light!

Thank You—I feel so grateful for this cosmic healing. I see now, so clearly that all life is one and that all I ever send forth to another part of life is visited upon me—not by a wrathful God—but because there is only Me—the One Life!

My field of vision is filled with the lively action of millions of streams of energy, originally hurled in disparagement, relaxing their hold on unfortunate people, transforming into beautiful Light Forms and returning to the senders. Fragmented soul parts are warmed, shiny and clean in this tremendous Love Shower and are returned to their rightful owners where the healing and integration continues by angels. Each one feels a new freedom and the opportunity to step forward, free from some of the pain and burden they previously felt.

Each repetition of this miracle meditation increases the action of freedom from past unkind thoughts, words and actions. If I focus upon a particular type of human interaction, the pain children feel when their parents fight and argue for instance, I find that my attention is drawn to view millions of instances of this exact situation. I radiate my joy into these scenes:

I see the energy patterns of pain and loneliness relax, unwind and become shiny, clean again! Now I see family members all over the Earth who have not spoken for years—the litany of seeming injustices is visible in their auras and even in their physical appearances:

A part of me wonders a little bit—is it possible for me to cause all of this to happen? This is between other people….how can it be something that I can interfere in? But I reaffirm that I AM one with all life—and therefore I can take responsibility for the pain and sorrow in the world. And if I am willing to take responsibility for it—to own it—I can also heal some part of it. As I heal, I am healed. I am healing. Forgiveness heals.
