Thanks for sharing what’s alive in you, beloved Eileen.
Your ‘bucket-story’ seems to fit in with the following expression I recently heard, “There is not one musical bone in my body”. Both beliefs, when accepted, create an energy field that seems absolute and unchangeable.
From your post, I conclude that you are transforming this energy field and subsequently shifting its boundaries. I applaud your willingness to explore your musical talents in a playful ‘hidden’ way. The following interview with Per Bristow may inspire you:

When I read your words “It's not clever like the songs Maria, Carol and David create”, I was reminded of Marshall Rosenberg's teaching of Non-violent Communication/A Language of Life. On p. 18 it reads "Another form of judgment is the use of comparisons. In his book, How to Make Yourself Miserable, Dan Greenberg demonstrates through humor the insidious power that comparative thinking can exert over us...". and subsequently become a reality in your life.

Musical Blessings to you and all readers of this post!

I am so grateful for all the musical talelnts of others and at home I appreciate the joy that comes with singing spontaneously the songs that are well programmed in me from the hearts center. Now I have broken out into creating my own words to familiar tunes like "zippy-oo-da, zippidy-eh, my or my what a wonderful day, plenty of money coming my way, prosperity and abundance, they're here to stay." Oh what a beautiful morning, of what a beautiful life, I've got a wonderful feeling, abundance is heading my way! Thanksgiving is now my favorite holiday so putting the many things I am grateful for into familiar tunes is becoming fun. Thanks Maria for your encouragement and examples. Music has not been one of my gifts in this lifetime but when i taught first grade I remember enjoying teaching some key lessons by way of songs and I really enjoyed that. Morning sunshine seems to stimualate a joy of singing for me, and also singing to the elementals when I am gardening. There are lots of opportunities to sing in our day, we simply require the spirit to move us to the joy if brings.

Mary breaks out of her old mold and braving it!
Copy and paste this weblink to your browser and hear the audio of Mary's little jingles! (As mentioned in her forum post):

Are you the next ONE creating AND sharing an audio of your song?

Here are the steps to make the last part happen:
1. Call in with a good telephone (not cell phone) to one of our HC rewired phone numbers (such as 206-826-1777) and then dial 3345
2. Sing/record your song (up to 8 minutes)
3. Press the # key or hang up when done.

I stay tuned to new VITA-tunes!
