I smiled when I came across this paragraph in The I Am Discourses/volume 1/Saint Germain pp. 2-3. Regarding what we are now calling 'Conscious Language.' Saint Germain taught this back in the 'thirties, regarding the words 'I AM' ------------- how strange that students---do not get the True meaning of those two words. When you say and feel "I AM" you release the spring of Eternal Everlasting Life, to flow on it's way unmolested. ----------- When you say "I AM not" you shut the door in the face of this Mighty Energy." And further ---------- The student, endeavoring to understand and apply these mighty yet simple Laws must stand guard more strictly over his thoughts and expression, ---------- for every time you say, "I AM not," "I cannot," "I have not," you are whether knowingly or not, throttling that "Great Presence" within you just as tangibly as placing your hands about your throat. Much more on this, however, space is limited.
