I'd like to try a raw food diet for a few weeks as a fast. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks! |

Yes, Here is an excellent source for lots of information http://radicalhealth.com/topics/new-you.html Radical Health, Raw Food Diet & Super Foods, The Easy Way. David Favor is an authority on this subject and has pristine products to offer for your journey. I recommend this site. PW. |

One of the best sources for raw food recipes that has always affected my life was to be directly involved with Dr. Ann Wigmore. Her books are still available and others are taking the teachings presented by Hippocrates Health Institute another step higher. There is a book titled, "Naturama Living Text Book." One of the best sources for new and used books on this subject and any subject is: abebooks.com. Google: "raw food recipes." Look for books on Ebay.com also. Books by N.W.Walker, Ann Wigmore, Dr. Bernard Jensen, M.O. Garten, D.C., Steve Meyerowitz. One of the best things to keep balanced is to make sure there is a lot of chlorophyll in your diet. Growing your own sprouts, wheatgrass and barley grass can be done indoors in front of a sunny window all year around very inexpensively and as a means of survival also. Work on foods that feed the glands of the endocrine system also. |
