Peter Deunov is the master of Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov. He began the outer activity of the Universal Great White Brother in Bulgaria on 1908. Seeing the rise of communist and fascist regimes, he sent Omraam to France in 1939 to begin a branch of the teachings in Western Europe. The communists suppressed his teachings in Bulgaria until 1989. Albert Einstein said of Deunov, "All the world reveres me, but I revere the master Peter Deunov."
