Kuan Yin Shares Teachings on Maintaining a Merciful Heart amidst Duality.

Avalokitesvara's release of Light was delivered through David Christopher Lewis messenger for the Ascended Masters.

Kuan Yin known as the Mother of Mercy in the East, has been worshipped by Buddhists for thousands of years. She is the greatest of Bodhisattvas and embodies the totality of compassion for humanity. She removes obstacles, erases past offenses, dispenses mercy, healing and spiritual graces, while always meeting the true inner needs of the soul.

"Hearer of Sounds"

Her shortened Chinese name,  Kuan Yin, means “Hearer of Sounds.” Her full name, Kuan Shih Yin,  means “Hearer of the World’s Sounds.” According to Eastern tradition, when Kuan Yin was about to enter heaven, as she stood on the very threshold, she could hear the cries of humanity. She did not enter but returned to help all who suffer in the earth plane. The term “Hearer of Sounds" can also be translated as “perceiver” or “regarder” of the world’s sounds. She is known in much of Asia as a divine emanation that answers the prayers of those who faithfully call upon her name.

Kuan Yin removes obstacles, erases past offenses, dispenses mercy, healing and spiritual graces, while always meeting the true inner needs of the soul.

Bodhisattva of Compassion

One of her many titles is Bodhisattva of Compassion. Bodhisattva is a Sanskrit word—bodhi meaning "enlightenment"  and sattva translated as "reality" or "existence." A bodhisattva is an enlightened being who has vowed to forgo higher realms and full liberation in order to assist those still struggling in the physical world. A bodhisattva cultivates virtue and pursues his/her spiritual career while on a path of self-sacrifice for the welfare of others and gives compassionate, loving service to humanity and to all sentient life. A bodhisattva (P’u Sa in Chinese) can be a person still in embodiment or a celestial being like Kuan Yin. At this highest transcendent level, the title is mahasattva.

Kuan Yin Mercy Prayer

Kuan Yin is a cross-cultural, nondenominational figure revered by many spiritual and religious traditions around the world. She serves the aspirants of all spiritual heritages and paths. Those who espouse a concept of an impersonal, formless divinity see her as an expression of the essence of compassion, or as a symbol of it. Others who acknowledge a personal Godhead view her as a divine embodiment of this virtue. Some view her as both the impersonal and personal manifestations of divine compassion, with no contradiction. She nurtures the growth of this quality in us through our devotions and our interpersonal relationships with others.

Missives of Mercy from My Heart
#1

David:  Let us love the Lord our God with all of our heart as we pour our love to our Solar Presence, our beloved I AM God Presence.

Dearest Hearts of Mercy's Light,
Today I begin a series of Missives of Mercy to the bodhisattvas of love. In this release of light, I choose to be where the messenger is within you in order to direct the currents of mercy into the deepest recesses of your consciousness. And by your reverent and respectful attentiveness to this flame of compassion and forgiveness, I will weave a garland of light around the Earth.
As you give your daily devotions to the Divine Mother, will you not also in this sacred cycle of a new year of holy integration give those mantras to me, whereby I may enter into the figure-eight flow of Buddhic love and radiate this flame of mercy to all? Mercy is as mercy does. So enter her silent contemplation upon the allness of God, and in presence, be that mercy to all.

1.     Mercy's joy is to transform the hardest hearts and the most violent of criminals through highlighting and drawing forth their own innate goodness.

2.     Forgiveness is the first step in mercy's unlimited healing potential.

3.     The merciful ones know God's palate as well as his palette.

4.     Always refining your senses, redefine within your own mercy flame.

5.     Mercy's healing qualities are not only palliative, but life changing.

6.     Your internal compass will direct you to Mercy's shores if you truly listen and then move into her currents.

7.     All ignorance, as forgetfulness, may be consumed in Mercy's gentle flame.

8.     You may become the Buddha through knowing the fullness of Mercy's inextinguishable light.

9.     All paralysis is an opportunity to learn Mercy's most important lessons.

10.  Refinement of character is the ongoing work of bodhisattvas of mercy.

11.  Close the book with me now on your past unmerciful words, your Wordless thoughts and your thoughtless deeds.

12.  Follow your heart to Mercy's radiant home.

David:  These are the first twelve Missives of Mercy from the heart of Kuan Yin, beginning a new spiral today, the thirteenth of January. Kuan Yin now comes to commune with us on each of these.

Commentary:

I Smooth the Oil of Forgiveness upon the Sores of the Past

Let Go and Be Whole

1.  Mercy's joy is to transform the hardest hearts and the most violent of criminals through highlighting and drawing forth their own innate goodness.

Fathom with me now first that which is true within you, and know this light in the totality of its pure reality. That which is true within you is also real and alive within every heart no matter how that one has outpictured in his world the opportunities to be the light of mercy. Thus any and all upon whom you gaze may have mercy increased as you hold that vision of perfection within them. Even as your Mother Mary does hold the immaculate concept for all, so I hold the divine reflection of the One in my heart. Draw forth God-goodness through beingness.

2.  Forgiveness is the first step in mercy's unlimited healing potential.

As you let go of a sense of burden and hurt and past recriminations, you move into my stream of mercy. Once fully within this stream, the flow itself will move you into wholeness. There is a constant and steady stream of mercy that may be yours through your attention. In this powerful current, all may be washed clean, all may be healed. Through your belief in the stream and its power to transform you, it may be so today.

3.  The merciful ones know God's palate as well as his palette.

Would you taste a new mercy today? Then take the oils of mercy that I provide and create a new superstructure of beauty, first within your unconscious; and then, arising all around you in joy and framed within a new attitude of mercy, may your creation come forth. Yes, blessed hearts, you are co-creators with Mercy. You are the essential oils with which the divine artist paints, from a new reference point within you, the law of love. Follow the star of mercy to its point of emanation within your heart, and in stillness taste of God's radiance and love for you.

4.  Always refining your senses, redefine within your own mercy flame.

As you become more sensitive to the fires of mercy, these may consume the most subtle aspects of the lack of mercy within you. Yes, I see these flecks of your past misuses of the light, and yet I choose to also see these as opportunities for you to grow. Refining your sense of holy presence, Mercy comes to you inquiring how you may bestow her graces upon all. As you redefine selfhood in Mercy daily, all presence shall be yours.

5.  Mercy's healing qualities are not only palliative, but life changing.

I burn up the noxious weeds of unmercy now so that you will no longer be pained by the unprovidential works and words of the not-self. And I now smooth the oil of forgiveness upon the sores of the past. Receive this love and know complete wholeness, blessed ones.

6.  Your internal compass will direct you to Mercy's shores if you truly listen and then move into her currents.

Your conscience contains every element of mercy that you require to be forgiving and to be forgiven. Every choice, through acceptance of mercy through the inner man of the heart, can be a victorious one when that mercy is allowed full reign within your heart.

7.  All ignorance as forgetfulness may be consumed in Mercy's gentle flame.

The Buddha defined the key to reality as the letting go of ignorance. In mindfulness, receive Mercy's transmutative frequencies, which consume on contact forgetfulness of God within.

8.  You may become the Buddha through knowing the fullness of Mercy's inextinguishable light.

What is Buddhahood but full presence. Who is Mercy but the handmaid of the Buddha. Let her light shine through your Buddha nature, for that light is mercy.

9.  All paralysis is an opportunity to learn Mercy's most important lessons.

Paralysis arises from the human analysis that constricts the beingness and flow of God as mercy. Do not analyze all through the bipolar way, but see love as the source of Mercy, and joy as the outflow of her grace.
I now remove the constraints that you have placed upon yourself through unmerciful acts and words and thoughts. Let go and be whole. [Kuan Yin breathes out a long breath of pranic, healing light.]

10.  Refinement of character is the ongoing work of bodhisattvas of mercy.

I draw you now to my temple in Peking, where you can see the work of the sisters of mercy. These artisans truly create through their mindfulness a forgiveness-radiance, a most beautiful rendering of life to all. Feel day by day the presence of their Presence with you through our time together, blessed ones. For the Earth in this age must know the musings of mercy of my own.

11.  Close the book with me now on your past unmerciful words, your Wordless thoughts and your thoughtless deeds.

Poof, they are gone as you seal the place where evil has dwelled within. I am the genie of mercy. May your wish be for love to remain and for mercy to be.

12.  Follow your heart to Mercy's radiant home.

I impart unto your heart the way made plain to my holy retreat, which you may know through reflection upon the law of love. My beatitude in this hour is yours for free. My grace, as opportunity to be a merciful one, I bestow anew. Peace in the flame of Buddha. Light in the name of Mother.
