Description: “Bless you” isn’t just for sneezes. When we bless, we create an interval, a hush, holding the world and ourselves in the palm of loving kindness. We touch and connect with the spirit of the one we bless and shed the light of our good intentions over our world. Anyone can bless. And blessings always come back to us. This course will give you firsthand experience in developing your own unique style of blessing.
Learn the art and practice of blessing and observe how blessings unfold in you. Discover how blessing will honor and reveal who you are as you engage with Source, with others and with the world around you. Be one who blesses and feel, receive and become part of the blessing.
Share in author David Spangler’s stories as they weave through our six-week course from his text, Blessing—the Art and the Practice. David Spangler will show us how to bless on a global scale. Purpose of Course:
This course will prepare the aspiring teacher of adults to understand basic concepts about how to select scope and sequence, how to prepare a syllabus, how to assess curriculum delivery, teaching strategies, spiritual preparation for teaching and some characteristics of the adult learner. This course is a beginning class and appropriate for those who have never received teacher training. Principles taught have applicability to workshop presentations and other informal teaching settings. There are no course prerequisites.
General Objectives:
- Understand the difference between scope and sequence and how to apply this knowledge.
- Understand the difference between a rubric and a concept map and when to use them.
- Understand several teaching strategies and be able to apply them in the design of a course.
- Demonstrate the ability to prepare a syllabus.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver curriculum to adult learners.
- Understand the spiritual preparation for teaching as a profession.

Heartstreaming for World Transmutation is foundational teaching and practice in our work together toward personal and planetary enlightenment. The ascended masters introduced this practice early in the formation of this new movement and have called for this very special Meru University class to convene for the purpose of helping us gain a clearer understanding of Heartstreaming and a wider experience in the practice. This is the eighth class in the series.
In order to fully embrace the Buddhic spirit of our movement, we will also study and practice meditation as taught by Siddhartha Gautama 2,550 years ago. Discussion and readings will include teachings by modern sages Eckhart Tolle, Nyanaponika Thera, The Dalai Lama, and others.
If you are taking this class for credit, we suggest that you secure the required textbooks and begin reading them in advance of the class. You will have weekly meditation and journaling assignments and one written paper to be submitted after the class ends. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the class by sharing insights and experiences with the group. Auditors are most welcome to listen to the class and fulfill any part of the readings and assignments they choose.
Kuthumi recently revealed that he will join Gautama Buddha and Lord Maitreya in teaching this class with their assistants, David Lewis and Anita Wolberd. Guest speaker Porter Weldon, a long time student of Buddhism, will give teaching on the stages of Buddhism and non-duality.
Please come with us as we journey deeper and higher and wider into our love-wisdom meditative practice of Heartstreaming for World Transmutation. Together we will find the treasurers the Buddhas will reveal.
